The Library Maze Adventures Worksheet is a printable set of illustrated mazes for kindergarten and early first grade. Children follow broad colored paths from a named library character to a pictured goal while practicing path tracking, direction changes, and simple problem solving.
At age 6, many children can see the goal but still have trouble planning the route. Kids may guess, backtrack, or get frustrated when a path loops around, so maze practice helps children slow down, scan choices, and try again without a long lesson.
A parent or teacher can sit beside the child and read the start prompt aloud, such as helping the character reach the destination.
