Maze Adventures Problem Solving Worksheet

The Maze Adventures Problem Solving Worksheet is a printable maze set for kindergarten children practicing mazes and problem solving. Each illustrated scene asks a child to follow connected broad colored paths from a named library character to a pictured destination, including a circular space scene, a triangular castle scene, and a honeycomb garden scene.

At age five, children are still learning how to slow down, scan a page, and choose a path without guessing. Many kids stall when a maze path turns, loops, or looks too busy, so a clear page with friendly pictures helps children practice planning one small move at a time.

A parent or teacher can sit beside the child, read the character name and goal aloud, then invite the child to trace the path with a finger before using a crayon or pencil. If the child reaches a dead end, the adult can say, “Go back to the last split,” and help the child try a different route without starting over emotionally.

The worksheet feels more like a short story adventure than a plain line maze. Broad colored paths, familiar library characters, and easy plus challenge levels give children a clear starting point, a real destination, and a just-right reason to keep looking carefully.
