The Needs and Wants Sorting Worksheet is a printable social studies page for first graders who are learning early economics. Children look at everyday examples and practice deciding whether each example is a need or a want.
At age six, many kids know what feels important, but kids often argue that a favorite toy or snack is a need. Naming the difference gives first graders simple language for classroom talks, shopping trips, and family choices.
