When a Family Tradition Changes Over Time

Family tradition talks can get surprisingly tricky. A child may know that your family has special things you do, but may not realize that those routines can change when people grow, move, or add new family members. This page gives that big idea a gentle starting point.

On the worksheet, children ask someone who cares for them about a repeated family activity and whether it has changed over time. Then they draw the earlier version on the left album page and the current version on the right.
