Feet Measurement Addition Worksheet
The Feet Measurement Addition Worksheet is a one-page printable with four addition problems using feet. Children read the illustrated measuring models, add the shown quantities, and write totals with the ft unit.
At age six, many children can count well but stall when a number has a unit attached. Adding feet helps a child see that numbers can describe length, and the unit stays with the answer during measurement addition.
Sit with your child and look at one problem at a time. Ask your child to point to the picture, say each number with “feet,” add the quantities, and then check that the answer includes ft.
The pictures give helpful context without pretending to be real measuring tools. The illustrated rulers, scales, or containers are models, not life-size tools, so the worksheet focuses attention on reading quantities, adding measurements, and labeling answers clearly.
