Milliliter quantities → Compare two measurements → Child identifies which amount is greater, smaller, or equal with growing accuracy.
Picture models → Connect visuals to saved quantities → Child uses containers, scales, or rulers as clues rather than guessing.
Measurement units → Read and use ml labels → Child notices the unit before comparing numbers in short math practice.

Milliliter Comparison Worksheet
The milliliter comparison worksheet is one printable math page for 1st grade measurement practice. The page has four comparison problems in ml, and children use the written quantities with matching picture models to practice units and comparison.
At age seven, many children can read bigger numbers but still stall when a unit changes the question. Milliliters make children slow down, notice the ml label, and decide whether one saved quantity is greater than, less than, or equal to another quantity.
A parent or teacher can start by reading the first pair of milliliter amounts aloud. Ask the child to point to the container, ruler, or scale picture, say which amount is larger or smaller, and then fill in the answer space on the worksheet.
The worksheet is useful because every illustrated model matches the saved quantity in the problem. The pictures support comparison thinking, and the pictures are models rather than life-size measuring tools, so children practice reading amounts instead of trying to measure from the printed page.
