Compare liquid volume amounts in pints. The child studies two measurements and decides which amount is greater or whether they match.
Read imperial measurement notation. The worksheet gives repeated practice seeing the pint unit abbreviation next to a number.
Use greater than, less than, and equal thinking. Each row asks the child to judge the relationship between two liquid amounts.

Compare Liquid Volume in Pints: More or Same
Liquid measurement can feel slippery at home or in class, especially when kids are used to seeing cups, bottles, and measuring pitchers without comparing the numbers. If your child guesses quickly or says every amount looks the same, start with a calm read-aloud of each measurement.
On this printable page, children compare pairs of liquid volume measurements written in pints. Each row shows two pint amounts side by side, and the child decides whether one amount is greater, one amount is less, or the two amounts are equal. The page builds number comparison, unit reading, and early measurement vocabulary.
Use the worksheet with a pencil and a quick finger-point routine. Have your child point to the first amount, say it out loud, point to the second amount, say it out loud, then choose the comparison. If needed, sketch simple pretend containers beside the numbers to make the idea of “more liquid” visible.
This page is part of the premium Measurement Workshop set in Whizki Pro, a hands-on math collection focused on length, weight, and liquid volume. Within the set, this worksheet gives children a focused chance to work with imperial liquid units before moving into other measurement tools and comparison tasks.
Keep the session short and steady. Four comparison rows are enough for a focused 5-10 minute practice round, especially for preschool, kindergarten, or first grade learners who are still building comfort with measurement words.
