Number Words to Numerals Worksheet for 3, 13, 15, 16, 17
The Number Words to Numerals Worksheet is a Grade 1 math page for reading number words and writing the matching numerals. Children work with the exact words three, thirteen, fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen, then record 3, 13, 15, 16, and 17 in large answer boxes.
Seven-year-olds often read teen numbers too quickly, and thirteen, fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen can blur together on a busy afternoon. Matching each number word to a numeral helps a child slow down, look at the whole word, and connect language to quantity.
Sit with your child and ask your child to read one word aloud, trace the word with a finger, and say the matching numeral before writing the numeral in the box. After the page is finished, point to 17, 16, 15, 13, and 3 in a mixed order and ask your child to read the number names back to you.
The worksheet does not try to cover every number from 1 to 20 at once. The smaller selected set gives extra attention to common Grade 1 mix-ups, especially teen words, while the large boxes leave room for careful handwriting and quick parent checking.
