Kindergarten Vocabulary Numbering Worksheet
The worksheet is a vocabulary numbering practice page for kindergarten that builds number-to-word and word-to-number matching using a picture word column. Five rows ask your child to write the picture number beside each word, and five rows ask your child to write the matching word beside each number.
This skill matters at age 6 because it helps connect what kids see (pictures and words) with what kids count (numbers). A common parenting snag is when kids pause on writing, like when number shapes and letter shapes feel confusing, or when attention fades halfway through a page.
Use this exact page for a quick shared turn-taking moment. Start with the first row: point to the picture column, read the picture word out loud, and ask your child to find the matching number. Your child writes the answer for that row, then you repeat the same rhythm for two more rows before switching to a movement break.
What makes this worksheet different from a generic printable is the two-way practice. The first set of rows strengthens “word to picture number,” and the second set strengthens “number to picture word,” so number and vocabulary stay connected in both directions.
