Vocabulary Numbering Picture Words Worksheet
This worksheet is a Kindergarten vocabulary numbering practice page. Children either write a picture number next to a word or write the matching word next to a number.
At age 6, vocabulary and writing grow together, but many children get wobbly when letter shapes feel tricky or when directions drag. Vocabulary numbering keeps the focus on one clear move, connect a number with a picture word.
Set the page on the table and point to the first line. Have the child look at the picture column, find the matching picture, say the word out loud, and then write the correct number (or write the matching word) on that line.
The page uses two directions, numbers to words and words to numbers. That swap helps the worksheet feel more like practice and less like repeating the same thing over and over.
