The worksheet → vocabulary numbering → children connect words with picture numbers and write the matching digits clearly.
The worksheet → number-to-word matching → children read a numeral, say the picture word, and write it in the line.
The worksheet → early writing practice with picture cues → children build confidence by doing two directions on one page, without long tasks.

Vocabulary Numbering Worksheet for Preschool
The worksheet practices vocabulary numbering for preschool by using picture cues. In 5 rows, your child writes the picture number next to a word, and in 5 more rows, your child writes the matching word next to a number.
At age 5, kids do better with quick, clear tasks that connect speaking and writing. When letter shapes feel tricky, number-and-picture matching gives the brain an easy starting point, so writing feels less like a guessing game.
For the first set of rows, say the word out loud, help the child find the picture, and then write the matching picture number in the empty box or line. For the second set of rows, point to the number, ask the child to name the picture, and then guide the child to write the matching word from the picture column.
This page stays useful because it practices vocabulary in two directions on one sheet. Word-to-number rows build “word first,” and number-to-word rows build “number first,” so the worksheet checks understanding while keeping the work short.
