Analog to Digital Time Math Worksheet
This worksheet practices telling time by having students read an analog clock and write the matching digital time in boxes. Each clock asks for the hour and minutes to match the hands shown.
At about age 6, time can feel slippery because the minute hand moves faster than kids expect. Many parents notice students mix up where the minute hand lands, especially when two clocks look “almost the same.”
Set up the worksheet at a table and use a timer for two minutes. Ask the child to point to the minute hand first, then point to the hour hand, and then write the digital time for that clock row. Check the first row together, then finish the page at the child’s pace.
This page is useful because it targets the exact step from picture to number, analog to digital, instead of doing only hand-labeling. The worksheet is also a quick, printable way to practice time reading during real-life routines.
