Milliliter Comparison Worksheet

The Milliliter Comparison Worksheet is a one-page math printable with four comparison problems in ml. First graders read each saved quantity, look at the matching picture model, and choose which milliliter amount is greater or smaller.

At age 7, measurement starts to move from big cup and little cup into unit words like milliliters. Kids often know larger numbers but stall when a picture of liquid changes the task, so short comparisons help connect number size to real measurement talk.

Sit beside your child and cover three problems with a sheet of paper, then work one problem at a time. Ask which container has more milliliters, then have your child point to the number, say the comparison out loud, and write the answer before moving on.

Each illustration matches the printed quantity, so the picture supports the math without asking a child to measure from the page. The pictures are models, not life-size measuring tools, which keeps the focus on comparing units instead of guessing from page size.
