Number Cards Counting Worksheet

The number cards counting worksheet gives first graders a selected set of number cards to read together: 15, 17, 19, 5, 12, 10, 13, 6, 3, and 2. The page practices number recognition, spoken number words, and careful attention to numerals from small numbers through teen numbers.

At age six, many children can count by memory but still pause when a single numeral stands alone. Mixed number cards help children look closely, say the number name, and build number sense without relying on a full one to twenty chart.

Sit beside your child and read the number cards together from left to right, or choose numbers in a playful order. Ask your child to point to 15, find 10, touch 3, then say each number aloud before moving to the next card.

Because the worksheet uses a selected set instead of a crowded complete chart, the practice feels short and manageable. The mix of small numbers and teen numbers helps children notice numeral shapes, listen for tricky teen words, and stay engaged during shared off-screen practice.
