Shapes and Geometry Pack

Shapes are easier to discuss when a child can point to the feature they mean. This pack brings together shape recognition, outline tracing, grouping, properties, and position activities. Some worksheets focus on tracing and recognizing outlines. Others ask children to consider sides and corners or use position words such as left, right, and below. Sorting pages invite children to compare outlines and explain which visible features belong in each group.

Name one shape together and notice its straight sides or curved outline. Turn a real paper shape to show that its name does not change just because its orientation does. On a position page, identify the reference object first: a shape can be to the right of one object and below another.
